We are seeking a talented Encounter Designer to join our team working on a Third-person Action Adventure MMORPG built with Unreal Engine 5. The candidate will focus on designing, balancing and setting up both Battle and Peaceful encounters in a game.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Game Designer or related role (Level/Combat Designer).
- Proven experience with enemy/NPC placement, encounter balancing, traps, puzzles, and interactions.
- Experience on PC or Console projects; MMORPG experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of game design principles, player psychology, pacing, and flow.
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5 (level design tools, Blueprints, gameplay scripting).
- Familiarity with version control (Git, Perforce) and project tools (Jira, Trello).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and passion for immersive gameplay.
- Portfolio with encounter design work, prototypes, or shipped features.
- Proficiency in English.
