DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Senior UE Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Unreal Engine and C++ programming, particularly in multiplayer/open-world game development.
Requirements
- 2+ years of lead experience
- 4+ years of experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
- 5+ years of professional experience in C++ programming.
- 3+ years of experience developing multiplayer games.
- 2+ years of experience with Replication system (Iris, Replication graph, etc)
- Experience with profiling and optimization
Responsibilities
1) Capture and analyze requirements; break down and delegate tasks across the team.
2) Lead and mentor developers, supporting their growth and managing day-to-day work.
3) Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
4) Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to implement gameplay features.
5) Take ownership of systems and features from concept to delivery.
6) Write clean, efficient C++ code and review code from peers to maintain quality and performance.
7) Profile and optimize gameplay systems.
8) Ensure balanced workload distribution and team efficiency.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with OpenWorld game development
- Experience with Tools development
- Experience with P4 and Swarm
- Understanding of basic microservice architecture
- Experience with Unreal Game Sync (UGS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with third-party profilers (e.g., Visual Studio Profiler)
- Experience with experimental technologies in UE releases
